Le Creuset 10.25″ Signature Cast-Iron Handle Skillet

Love this pan. Use it almost every day. Cleans up easy. Non-stick if you don't have it on high temperature. Makes great home made pizza 🍕.

This is a great little fry pan for cooking 2 eggs at a time, half slice bacon, or making small sauces, and melting butter, browning nuts or seed, etc... many multiple uses! I Love it, fits my style. Easy to clean. A small "how to book" is included. Shipped quickly and arrived very fast. Thank you!

I find this pan has a learning curve similar to an All Clad stainless steel pan - let it heat up to the correct temperature entirely then begin cooking in it. Very rarely do I have any sticking issues if I follow this rule. I enjoy cooking with this pan. My color is meringue so I MUST clean the bottom with a little bar keepers friend after most uses. The interior of the pot I clean like a normal le creuset however, I don’t really like the patina look so I treat it with oil as you would a cast iron pan.

It takes a little time to learn how to use these skillets with the black interior. I know they said it doesn’t need to be seasoned, but I disagree. After a few failures, I decided to preseason and that made a big difference. You do have to re-season periodically, again, they say no but in my reality, you do. Even so you must still use a little oil or butter every time you cook. You also never cook the food over medium. I heat the pan up first (always) and then my fat of choice. Then add your food and immediately turn down to medium low or low heat. You have to be patient and let the pan cook. Most of my failures have been because I rushed the heating up of the pan and cooking on too high of a temperature. I admit, I still struggle with eggs sometimes. As for cleaning, let the pan cool, fill with hot water and let it soak for about an hour. No soap! I then use a non scratch sponge and wipe it dry or put back on the burner for about 5 minutes and then let it cool. If you cook using no fat, this may not be the best pan for you.

This pan is absolutely wonderful. Cooks evenly, non-stick, cleanup is a breeze, and it’s a perfect size for 1-2 people. I don’t even put it away; I keep it on my stovetop.
