Safety 1st onBoard Insta-Latch DLX Car Seat – Beach Rose

I received this infant car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really like how lightweight this car seat is!! The install wasn't hard, but like other infant car seats, it just takes a while to ensure everything is safely secured. Once you get past the leveling, it's pretty easy. I like the neutral color as it can be used with both genders. The fabric itself feels like good quality and looks like it would be fairly easy to clean. However, when comparing to my other infant car seat it doesn't feel as padded. This makes me feel as though my baby isn't as comfortable sitting in this car seat. I will say that my favorite feature is the zippered mesh. My other infant car seat doesn't have that. Overall, it feels like a decent infant car seat that gets the job done while not breaking the bank. I still prefer the car seat I bought prior to my baby's arrival better. But of course, that one came with a higher price tag. I would recommend this infant car seat to any parent looking for a good quality/good price item.

To be completely honest, I was not expecting anything more than a basic car seat when I saw the brand name. I was pleasantly surprised to see added features that upgraded the quality and functionality of this car seat, making it 5 stars for me. First thing I noticed out of the box was how light it was. This was very important to me in an infant car seat since it's something would be carrying around a lot. The fabric surrounding the edge of the car seat was quilted giving it an upgraded look, but felt very thin when I touched it. However, the fabric in the center where baby sat was very plush and almost had a memory foam feel to it which I loved. The install was probably my favorite feature. The latch system came with the belt automatically retracting. It made it a little difficult to clip into the anchors, but once that was in, it took me 10 seconds to install the base. With it retracting by itself, all I had to do was push the base far as I could into the seat and lock it in place. The upgraded features I noticed were: Easy install Faux leather handle Extendable canopy with breathable mesh Reclining base The only thing I would change is the canopy bar. It was too flimsy to adjust with one hand. I had to adjust each side individually because it was really stiff and the bar that held the fabric across wasn't strong enough to pull both sides forward or back together. Overall, I thought this was a great car seat with more features than your average infant car seat. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

My family and I have been very happy with the onBoard Insta-LATCH DLX Infant Car Seat. As a first time mom, safety and ease of use are my main concerns. So far, this car seat has ticked both of those boxes. The base is easy to install with visual indicators, and the straps are easy to adjust to get a snug fit. The fabric is very padded and my little girl is happy/comfortable every time we put her in the car seat (if you couldn't tell from the big smile on her face!). We have already had to wash the machine washable seat pad after my daughter spit up after a feed, and the fabric has held up incredibly well. Our favorite feature has to be how light weight the car seat is. My husband works full time and I often have to go out on my own, and the weight of the seat makes my life a hundred times easier when I am juggling groceries and a diaper bag! I was sent the Onboard insta-latch DLX infant car seat by stellar product testing panel. We LOVE this car seat! The first thing I noticed was how soft the fabric was and how cushioned it was. My 9 month old seemed much more comfortable in this seat than his last one. I had to adjust the straps to meet the size of my infant which was very easy to do, it only took me a couple of minutes. The installation in the car was also very simple and seemed to fit in the car well. We love how easy it is to get the car seat in and out of the car and transfer between vehicles. Would definitely recommend this car seat to family and friends!

I received the car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel to test out with my 9 month old. It was very easy to set up and adjust. The fabric is really nice. I really liked the feeling of the quilted design. The infant inserts are also very soft and perfect for a little one. My child was really comfortable in it and it was really easy to use and so lightweight! I also love how easy it is to take the fabric off and clean! Highly recommend!
