I was very pleased to add this beautiful kettle to my updated kitchen. It holds plenty of water for my large teapots. I appreciate the potholder which I also use as a trivet. It's very comfortable to use. It feels very balanced. I'm sure I'll be enjoying it for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read the care instructions carefully but found no mention of how to remove the lid to add water and do eventual cleaning. I had to request information. Even with the response I received, there was no mention of the lid tightness until the lid has been lifted a few times.
