New Year’s Eve dinner

The beef Wellington‘s had great flavor, and the steaks were very tender. The problem is with the directions. They say to defrost the Wellington’s in their wrappers. However, as they defrost, the pastry becomes wet and during cooking, they remained soggy. I would consider buying them again, but I would not follow the defrosting directions.

So-So Beef Wellingtons

Sadl to say that my opinion of Rastelli’s Beef Wellingtons Mignons is that they are only so-so-although they were easy to prepare and the filet mignons were tender and delicious, they were not visually appealing. Unfortunately, the pastry was tough, tasteless, clumsy looking and browned very unevenly.
